143 Thousand North Jakartans Participated in Online Population Census

As many as 143,577 residents in North Jakarta participated in Online Population Census (SPO) 2020. Those people filled their population data individually via online.

North Jakarta Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Head, Suhartono conveyed, SPO 2020 program ended on Friday (5/29) with total 143,577 residents or 39,435 families participated in it.

"Period of filling population data through SPO 2020 program has officially been closed," he said, Tuesday (6/2).

Online Population Census Period in Thousand Islands Extended

From that data, his side informed, around 7.95 percent of total families in North Jakarta participated in SPO 2020 program. Based on the result of North Jakarta BPS's mapping, total population in North Jakarta reaches 496,040 people.

This September, his side will carry out SPO 2020 program manually by sending officers to visit residents who haven't participated in SPO 2020 program.

"Our personnel will visit residents wh o haven't participated in SPO 2020 program," he stated.
